World Education Summit 2017
The 10th edition of the World Education Summit 2017, organized by Digital Learning, was held at the Le Meridian Hotel in New Delhi on 11th -12th August. It was attended by the headmistress, Mrs. Madhushree Bhaumik and HOD Social Studies, Mrs. Kavita Ojha Tewari. There were three sessions on different aspects of education each day, like the role of teachers, role of technology in teaching, early education, future of education in India. Delegates from 120 countries attended the summit.
The chief guest was Mrs. Kiran Maheshwari, minister of technical education, science education, Rajasthan. The other eminent guests were Ms. Kalthoom AlBalooshi, Executive director of Education development, Dubai and Mr., V.S.Radhakrishnan, State Minister of education, Sri Lanka.
The concluding function of the second day was the award function where our school bagged the prize for Innovation in Science Education.
