History

The dreams of Seth Anandram Jaipuria took concrete shape and became a reality when the foundation was laid by our Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi on 13th September, 1966.The school became fully operational after the inauguration done by our Late President Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad on 26th October, 1974.

The school was set up with a mission to nurture children who would grow as balanced human beings by inculcating in them healthy habits through constant care and enabling them to acquire sporting temperament, thereby growing equally in body mind and spirit.

Keeping the above principles and aims in mind the school work was divided under these headings:

About us

Starting from a small group of 400 students, the school now has more than 2855 students 120 full time teaching staff. In the last 44 years the school has made great progress in all fields yet there remains much that needs to be achieved and attained. Since its inception in the year 1974, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur has been able to build on the steady foundation of good values and the urge to excel. The endeavour has always been to balance excellence in academics with creativity and compassion. The objective of education has metamorphosed with the passage of time and the need of the globe. At Jaipuria we prefer to create situations where a child challenges his own ability, hence becomes his own competitor and thus keeps improving and rediscovering himself.
