Comfest-2021

Comfest, India’s largest student organised fest, has always been a hallmark of the robust Computer and IT department of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Kanpur. This year, despite the Covid-19 protocols, the agile Jaipuria Computer Club delivered excellence and perfection! The JCC endeavoured to make sure the event was picture perfect. More than 50 schools from all around the globe participated in this techno-cultural extravaganza and made the event a grand success.

This four day indelible voyage began with the inauguration ceremony on Day 0. Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan, a former parliamentarian, graciously motivated the participants and the JCC at the commencement of this expedition. The day proceeded with our showstopper event, CF Arena- an amalgamation of gaming and bidding. As Day 1 commenced, the participants indulged in a plethora of impeccable events. With Day 2, began the most awaited event of Comfest, a 24- hour hacking event: Hackcom! The Jaipuria Computer Club, known for its uniqueness, proved its expertise with the success of this tech-savvy megathon.

On Day 3, we witnessed the final rounds of several events. Comfest 21 ended with the Closing Ceremony, but it would have been incomplete without the heartwarming speeches by the JCC members. The past 2 years have had barriers and obstacles for everyone, but the JCC protected Comfest’s legacy and organised a spectacular online extravaganza. Undoubtedly, the blue armoured JCC raised the bar and did not leave any room for error.
