ASISC Inter School Quiz – Regional

The ASISC Inter School Quiz Regional level was hosted organized at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur on 19th Aug 2017. There were total 21 teams from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Region who qualified the zonal round competed for this Regional round.
The event commenced with the lighting of lamp by the Principal Mrs. Shikha Banerjee which was followed by the School Prayer and an English choir.

The Quiz Master of the ceremony was Mr.Ajay Poonia, the co-founder of cryptic website content and marketing company who has been hosting quizzes for over 7 years for several corporate houses and schools. He has hosted 4 seasons of quiz show for school children on TV18 and has also authored a series of GK books for classes 1-8 for CBSE.

The quiz was conducted in two rounds Preliminary and Stage Round where among 21 teams. Six teams from each category (Junior and Senior) were selected to compete for the finals. It was a neck to neck competition.

Senior Category

• First- Sheiling House School, Kanpur
• Second- CMS , Gomti Nagar Extension, Lucknow
• Third- Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur

Junior Category

• First- St. Paul’s Academy, Ghaziabad
• Second- St. John’s School, Varanasi
• Third- St. Joseph Academy, Dehradun
