ALUMNI MEET 2019 ON 28TH DECEMBER 2019

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Kanpur hosted the Alumni Meet on 28th December, 2019. The alumni meet was conducted in order to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements.  A special welcome was extended to the Alumni who came back to their Alma Mater after 39 years.

The Alumni started arriving in school by 4.00 p.m. and were welcomed by the registration team with Jaipuria Kanpur Souvenirs. The school was delighted to see more than six hundred Alumni come back to their alma mater at just one call. The Alumni revisited the familiar place where they had studied and made lifetime memories.

The Meet started with a friendly football match followed by ‘Tug of War’ and ‘Treasure Hunt.’ To start the occasion on an auspicious note and bring back the old memories of their childhood, the school prayer was sung. Our dear Principal, Mrs. Shikha Banerjee addressed the gathering followed by Mr. Harish Sanduja, Director of Jaipuria group of Schools.

Our Principal welcomed all the dignitaries and all the alumni for responding to the invitation from school and being present for the alumni meet in spite of their busy schedule. The JOSA board of Honour was unveiled. The present elected Chairman, Mr. Sandeep Mahendra, in his address, presented before us, his committee for JOSA 2020.

The school took this opportunity to felicitate several alumni as Mr. Jaipuria, Ms Jaipuria, Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female, Early Birds and various lucky draws.

The Alumni were treated to an enticing musical extravaganza ‘Jhankar Beats’ by Vishal Mishra and his group. They sang a medley of songs which celebrated friendship.  Mr. Raghav Gupta and Ms. Anusha Singh enthralled us with their amazing surprise performance.

The Alumni Meet concluded with a hearty and sumptuous dinner and a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Ashmit Sehgal. With an assurance to meet again, the Mighty Jaipurians bid an emotional farewell to each other.
