Grandparents Day 2022

Our grandmas and grandpas are grand-angels – “Grandparents have silver in their hair and gold in their heart”

Ears for listening. Hands for holding. A sprit ready for the next big adventure. Grandparents make an ordinary day extraordinary with nothing more than a spark and an imagination.

To salute them, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School celebrated Reminiscence Grandparents’ Day on Friday, 30 September, 2022. The Chef Guest for the day was Mr. Pramod Kumar, DCP, Kanpur South. After around two years the Preprimary wing of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School got the privilege to honour the grandparents and celebrate it as a special event.

Theme of the day was a Tribute to the Legends named Reminiscence. The programme began with lighting of the lamp by the Leadership Team Members it was taken forward by welcoming all the revered Grandparents with a few honourable words. The little kids welcomed their Grandparents by singing a melodious medley: Bienvenue Melody

They were dressed up in beautiful attire and props which enhanced their performance.

The toddlers featured the well-known legends: Musicians, Actors, Singers, Politicians, Scientists and Cricketers by enacting their persona and also presenting graceful dance.

The spectators relived and cherished their golden era Grandparents added to the beauty of the event of the event by singing and dancing in groups for their little musketeers.

The little bambinos gave a flawless performance. The teary eyes along with smiling faces was an evidence to the successful event conducted by the school under the able guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Shikha Banerjee and Vice Principal (Senior School) Mr. Shadeep Adhikari, Vice Principal (Junior School) Mrs. Madhushree Bhaumik with teachers being their working hands & support.

The esteemed guests were overwhelmed to see the tiny tots performing enthusiastically. Further grandparents were accoladed. The programme ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice Principal (Junior School) Mrs. Madhushree Bhaumik. The audience admired and built in a plethora of memories to cherish lifelong as the children bid adieu with “Magical WOW Moments”

Headmaster, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Mishra, DGM – Admin, Mr. Shailendra Agnihotri were present to witness the programme.
