Founders’ Day 2019

‘Shraddha’ the 45^th Founders’ Day of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur was celebrated with great fervour and gusto on 24^th November, 2019. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Ms. Mallika Sarabhai, Padma Bhushan, Sangeet Natak Akadami Award for Creative Dance and Choreography. She is also a social activist and an acclaimed actress.

She is an M.B.A. from IIM Ahemadabad. She is the daughter of the renowned physicist astronomer and space scientist, Mr.Vikram Sarabhai (Padma Vibhushan) and Classical Dancer Ms.Mrinalini Sarabhai.

The programme commenced with the inauguration of the school exhibition by the Chairman, Shri Shishir Jaipuria and was followed by the lighting of the lamp and his welcome address. The school Principal, Mrs. Shikha Banerjee presented the annual school report and the achievements of our students.

The Annual prize distribution was coordinated by the Headmistress, Mrs. Madhushree Bhaumik. Academic prizes were awarded to the class toppers and ICSE and ISC Board Toppers (All India Ranks) for the academic session 2018-19. The Chief Guest appreciated the talents & skill of the students and motivated them with her inspiring words.

The cultural extravaganza comprised Anand Dhara (Vandana), Geet Vitan (Choir and Orchestra), Geetanjali (Poem), Kabuliwala (English Play), The Plea (Western Choir), Chitrangada (The Warrior Princess, Hindi Play) & the Grand Finale, the Journey of Bhanu Singh, all dedicated to the Nobel Laureate, Rabindranath Tagore.
