Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria Memorial Inter School English Declamation Competition 2021

Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria Memorial Virtual Inter School English Declamation Competition was held on 12 June, 2021 in two categories for the students of Classes VI-VIII and IX-X on a Virtual platform. It was aimed to develop oratory skills and promote critical thinking among students. The purpose was to have the students experience the power of masterfully crafted language as the participants had to select a Speech or a Ted Talk of a famous personality and declaim. The meticulous speeches of the orators left the audience spellbound. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed guests Mr. Harish Sanduja, Director Schools, Ms. Anjali Khanna, Vice- President HR, Ms. Sushma Raturi, Head of Teaching, Learning and Training of SAJS group of schools and our respected judges – Ms. Rita Khetarpal, retired HOD English from Frank Anthony Public School with 35 years of experience as an English teacher. Ms. Abhishri Swarup, alumnus of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur and a Founder President of SAJMUN, she is currently pursuing History Honors at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.  The audience was mesmerized by the soulful rendition presented by the Music Department which was apt during these difficult times ‘Heal the World’. The participants were provided with E-certificates. The event culminated with the words of wisdom by Mr. Harish Sanduja and Mrs. Shikha Banerjee, Principal Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur.
