TEACHERS TRAINING PROGRAMME AT KOLKATA 2019-20
BIOLOGY AT THE UPPER PRIMARY LEVEL CLASSES VI-VIII (18th-20th JUNE 2019)
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations organized three days’ workshop for teaching Biology at the Upper Primary Level (classes VI-VIII) at the East Zone Office and Management Skill Centre, Kolkata. Thirty five teachers from all over India participated in the training program.
The Resource persons were Mrs. Shanta Krishnan and Mrs. Amie Bhattacharya Main emphasis was on the new curriculum and need for the paradigm shift and making Biology, interesting for children. Contents of syllabus, drafting question paper and practical were also discussed. The workshop was very fruitful for the teachers.
