ISA Activity – Food Delight (Classes I and II)
Sumptuous, lip smacking, with delicate aroma….
These were the terms used for the delicacies prepared by the mothers of the students we selected from each class respectively.
The parents explained the recipes to the children in detail along with the ingredients used and even held a Question / Answer round to revise the same.
Some of the terms used were:-
- Tapas – Spanish Snack
- Croquettes – Spanish Starters
- Khoya – Milk Condensed
- Kesar – Saffron
The students responded enthusiastically and cheered the mothers.
The recipes were:-
- Saffron sweet rice from Bangladesh
- Coconut Balls from Srilanka
- German Sandwich from Germany
- Croquettes from Spain
Finally the children savoured the delicacies and smacked their lips.
