Fruit Seller Day
Fruits are the nature’s most fantastic food
The pre primary wing of SAJS celebrated Fruit Day on 13 March 2024. There was Fruit seller,with colorful displays of various fruits arranged on cart. Each child was given play money to experience buying and selling fruits under the guidance of their teachers.
The little ones learnt about the taste, smell , colour and texture of each fruit. Teachers demonstrated the washing, peeling, cutting and mixing of different fruits into a yummy fruit salad to satisfy their taste buds.
Creative sessions were conducted where children made fruit-themed crafts using paper, paint, and other materials. These activities stimulated their imagination and fine motor skills while reinforcing the concept of healthy eating.
This special occasion aimed to introduce our young learners to the importance of fruits in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, while also fostering their social and cognitive development through hands-on activities and interactive learning.
