Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria Memorial Inter School English Declamation Competition 2022

Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria Memorial Inter School English Declamation Competition was held on 7^th May 2022, in two categories for the students of Classes VI-VIII and IX-X.  It was aimed at developing oratory skills and promoting critical thinking among students. Fifteen schools participated in the event. The purpose was to have the students experience the power of masterfully crafted language, as the participants had to select a Speech or a Ted Talk of a famous personality and declaim. The meticulous speeches of the orators left the audience spellbound.

Principal, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, Mrs. Shikha Banerjee was the Chief Guest for the day. Mrs. Archana Khaitan, a Member of the School Managing Committee also graced the occasion. The esteemed panel of judges comprised Dr. Madhumita Ganguli, Retd. Professor- Christ Church College, Mrs. Anita Kapoor, a renowned English teacher, author, and well-known personality in the English Fraternity in the city, and Mrs. Anjali Agarwal, an Alumnus, Grandmother of one of our students, and AEC Consultant.

The audience was mesmerized by the soulful rendition presented by the Music Department. As a token of appreciation, the winners in both the categories were awarded books and all the participants received a certificate of participation.

The event also witnessed the gracious presence of Mrs, Mashushree Bhaumik, Vice Principal, Junior School, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, Mr. M.K.Mishra, Head Master, Seth Anandram Jaipuria, School, Kanpur, and Mr. S.S. Agnihotri, DGM- Admin.

The competition culminated with the words of wisdom delivered by Mrs. Shikha Banerjee, Principal Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur.
