DISASTER MANAGEMENT
Through various seminars and workshops, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School strives to make its teachers and students aware of the latest measures to be taken in case of an emergency. An awareness programme on Disaster Management was organized by the ‘Rotary Club of Kanpur’, for Middle School on 28 September, 2018.
The students were addressed by Mr. H.S. Malik, Deputy Director, Fire Service, Kanpur along with his team. They shared simple and easy methods to follow safety tips and spoke about the Dos and Don’ts incase of sudden fire breakouts. He also instructed them on the needs to watch out for fire -outbreaks warning signs and practice safety measures to prevent occurrences of incidents that may range from inconvenience to life threatening incidents.
Some First Aid tips and demonstrations were given, to be used in case of emergency.
The session was very informative and an imperative lesson on ‘Disaster Management’ where life saving skills were imparted to the students.
